tomorrow we use Senor Douchey's dsl reimbursement (goddamn motherfucking cmu cd phds) to buy some kind of fancy allergy-free vacuum cleaner. THEN, i finish talking to suckface realty about an official form and additional security deposit. FINALLY, we get a cat!

back in NoVA! they cats are doing well, Shelley's been a little surly lately, but really, how much can you expect this time of year. Taylor's skittish as ever and Rascal still likes to pee on things.
my mother, father, and sister are doing ok too.
but i do miss pittsburgh, you know, ( just hanging out by the basketball hoop )

dagnabit, i am sooo sick of everyone talking about bikes!
this morning the ever-beautiful Rori and i were biking to work and we biked around a whole lot of cars that were just standing there in a traffic jam. suckahs!
also i can NOT explain to you how much i'm addicted to movies. the thing is, if i don't watch a movie every day, i'll get hit by a car or my face will fall off or something. yeah, yeah, that's the one... so!, im me, KWEWW, if you want to talk about mo-vies.

there's one paper and two finals between me and graduation. and after that: Pittsburgh, here i come!!!

actually that's a lie. i hardly drank at all on account of my fragile liver/throat/ego. but i _did_ party down with Michelle and Leigh and RORI and the rest. and party we did.
all i can THINK (or talk) about these days is our shiny new old-woman-infested house. yes, that's right, i'll be schmucking it up in pittsburgh for another deux years. but with a cat (or deux) this time! we are gunna have soooo many microwaves!

i have no idea what i've been doing for the past two weeks. i havn't been in san diego, that's for damn sure.
but oh what a gui i've made! and it's orange! and made it's way into some darpa propaganda crap! yes.....
in other news, my biological cat clock is going off right about now. I MUST OWN CATS. and soon. but not too soon because i have no house now. except for this one, which doesn't count.
in short, what should i do over the summer? current options:
1 - sit
2 - get some sillyass lti job
3 - sit in the library behind the video counter
4 - sit and then play guard
5 - attempt to travel but then realize it's really expensive and get stuck somewhere in the middle of montana
6 - create a glitter-encrusted monument to Rori
7 - perfect my beach bunnie skills (and change my name to Kerrie)

09:00 pm - winter in arctic pittsburgh
despite my best efforts and constant icing the driveway, old man winter has kept the usmail from our doorstep. i have been pacing about consumed with worry over my loved ones and rental movies. but today!, oh what a day! after a long and arduous winter (week) with no mail, the ice on our 45degree driveway melted and i got _THREE_ netflix movies! oh, it's hard living where you don't get mail for weeks at a time because of the weather (through sleet and rain and whatever my ass), but it's all worth it when you get 1 solid days worth of movies at once. ahhh...
also my grandmother is well.
as i've been waiting impatiently for netflix, i have been knitting up a storm. honk if you want a scarf!
it is now my intention to drink salted lemonade and watch movies with the word "time" in their titles until i pass out.

here i am, in sunny northern virginia. i am about to go see a tree.
this break i have been compulsively checking the weather in paris and reading travel guides. also i'm learning german this week. also i will now learn to knit with my kool knit knack kit and _everyone_ will get scarves! woo!
i miss networks. networkies, as we affectionately called it. ahhh, those were the days... i'll eat a clementine and drink fancy coffee to you, networkies.
i woke up pretty late because i went to bed pretty late.

today the orange string on my wrist broke. i'll never forget the day (the only day) when i washed my sheets freshman year and tied that string to my wrist. those were happier times, my friends.

chicago was all i expected and more. i did watch a movie (Bruce Campbell is wonderful) and eat food (mmmmMalay...). also look at les objects d'ART. i like dots, they're like pixels!

midterms: done and done. i have learned that tests still suck.
now i will go on a roadtrip to chicago full of various misadventures and hijinks. once in chicago i plan to watch at least 1 movie. also eat food. oh, i do like food.
